This Cloud Notebook Completely Erases When You Microwave It
Portable technology, like phones and tablets, can be super convenient. Of course, there’s a certain catharsis that comes from writing manually. Well, now you can get the pleasure of handwriting with the convenience of digital technology.
All you need is a pen, the Rocketbook Wave, and a microwave.
Yes, you read that right. The Rocketbook Wave is a completely microwave-safe notebook to keep your handwritings only a pen stroke away from the cloud.
With the Rocketbook Wave, you can scan your notes directly to your favorite cloud-compatible service. Once you fill your notebook, all you need to do is stick it in the microwave with a mug of water. In no time, your Wave will be completely blank!
When you scan a page in the Rocketbook app, the page is saved to the app as if it were a document saved in word. The Wave also has seven distinct symbols at the bottom of every page. Each symbol can be programmed through the app to correspond to a Google Drive, a Dropbox, or other cloud-compatible account. If you cross out or color in the symbol, the scan will be sent directly to your drive of choice!
Wave is designed to work specifically with Pilot FriXion ink, which turns invisible when heated to 140 degrees fahrenheit (60 degrees celsius).
Instead of college-ruled pages, each Wave page is made of a grid of dots, so you can use the page to take notes, make graphs, draw diagrams, or any number of other things you might use your notebook for.
Thanks to the special QR code at the bottom of every page, each page scans perfectly, so it looks like you made it right on your computer!
The Rocketbook Wave can be found on Amazon for $27!
