Bike Design Lets You Wash Your Clothes While You Exercise
There’s the famous saying about “killing two birds with one stone,” and some designers have taken that to heart though thankfully not in a literal sense. Designed by a group of students at Dalian Nationalities University in Dalian, China, the BiWa is a stationary bike concept that doubles as a washing machine.
By pedaling the machine, the drum is turned and generates electricity to power the monitor or it can be stored for future use inside the battery. If you’re crunched for time, it’s worth looking into as you can hit the gym and do a load of laundry at the same time. Throw in some TV or surfing the internet and you’re making the most of an hour.
