The Jaguar XKX Concept Car

Inspired by the e-type from 50 years ago, the Jaguar XKX is a new generation electric roadster designed by studio Skyrill and Marin Myftiu. Notable features of this concept are the disappearing side mirrors that hide almost completely when the car is stopped, the aerodynamics, regenerative power system and obviously that overall head-turning design. To reduce aerodynamic drag, openings on each end were conceived allowing the air to flow from one end to the other instead of being stuck by the engine. The body of the XKX increases also efficiency and overall performance. The top layer covering the car is a transparent sheet of piezoelectric material which is stimulated from air pressure and creates rechargable energy (electricity) to feed back the battery. Again, it is just a concept car with the only purpose of making us drool.
