It is made of high quality stainless steel and appears to be created from a single block of steel with each knife nesting within the set. The set of 4 knives includes a 3-1/4-inch paring knife, a 5-1/4-inch utility knife, a 8-inch chef knife, and a 8-3/4-inch slicer. Made in France by Deglon, handcrafter of quality cutlery since 1821.
Also available is a more affordable version that includes an oak base instead of the stainless steel block – $557.
