This ‘Origami Umbrella’ Has Redefined And Modernized The Umbrella

Intrepid designers Justin Nagelberg and Matthew Waldman have come a long way to developing a new concept for the umbrella. As opposed to one made with the traditional skeleton and mesh structure, they have created one with a far more modern and efficient design.

Aside from the Hexagonal and origami-esque design, it’s environmentally conscious and has a magnetic closure system. It’s ingenious design and creative use of materials make it lighter than other umbrellas, and the lack of a metal structure gives more headroom under the canopy and more. There’s also an incredible compact version. For all these reasons and more, it’s an umbrella worth investing in.
