MB&F HM3 MoonMachine Watch – Performance & Art
Designed by Stepan Sarpaneva, a Finnish watchmaker, the HM3 Moonmachine from MB&F is a funky piece of art based on the HM3 Frog. Featured are 2 domes, one showing the hour and a second for the minutes. The moon phase is also displayed, with Stepan’s iconic moon-face, by dual moons rotating under a Korona ring. Behind the moon phase indicator is a vibrant living sky. A scintillating firmament of northern stars laser pierced in a steel and 22k gold disc are brought to life by the motion of the sky rotor. The Moonmachine is a highly detailed watch hand-finished to perfection. It is priced at $98,000 and is available in 3 limited editions (18 pieces each): titanium case with white gold moon faces in a light blue sky, black titanium case with white gold moon faces in a dark blue sky and red gold case with red gold moon faces in an anthracite sky.
