Kastor – A Beaver Shaped Pencil Sharpener
Naturally, a beaver chews on wood, and as most pencils that require sharpening are made out of wood, wouldn’t the most suitable design of a pencil sharpener be a beaver?
Rodrigo Torres thought so and came up with ‘kastor’ (french pronunciation of beaver), a cleverly designed pencil sharpener and paper weight that makes reference to the wood-gnawing creature. Great details define the animal’s form, including eyes, teeth, paws and tail.
