Jaguar C-X75 – From Concept To Reality

Jaguar announces the production of the C-X75, a state-of-the-art supercar. They collaborated with Williams F1 for the design and engineering of this beauty conceived to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar. It is set to become ‘one of the fastest, low-emission vehicles in the world’ with an emissions target of less than of 99g/km CO2.

The C-X75 produces 778hp thanks to 4 electric motors — one for each wheel — that are recharged using two diesel-fed micro gas turbines. The range of the car is 559mi (900km) while producing 28 grams of CO2. The all-electric range is 68mi (110km).

Jaguar adopted carbon-fibre in the construction of the C-X75, ensuring a lightweight, strong and rigid supercar with a top speed over 200mph, 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds and 0-100mph in less than 6 seconds.

This plug-in hybrid supercar is going on production with few differing specs and will be priced between $1.15 – 1.48 million. A maximum of 250 cars will be produced.
