Coil Lamp – The Most Minimalist Lamp You’ll Ever See

What do all lamps have in common? A light bulb and a single electrical cord. A lamp couldn’t be created without these two elements – but only with these two? That’s another story. Wanting to create the absolute minimal table lamp, Craighton Berman designed the Coil Lamp – and you guessed it, made of a light bulb and an electric cord only.

The 100 foot extension cord is wrapped around a laser-cut clear acrylic form thus creating volume, defining the lamp shape, and adding modernism to the piece.

A DIY kit of the Coil Lamp is available on sale for $63 or $199 for the ‘Handmade’ limited edition hand-coiled by the designer and ready to shine.
