Nokia Lumia 920 Heating Up The Smartphone Battle

Even if you’re an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S III user, you might now rethink and switch. Joining the battle of the smartphones is the brand new Windows 8 powered Nokia Lumia 920. It features an 8.7 megapixels camera with PureView technology, which means blur-free images and video even if the camera is shaking (thanks to its Optical Image Stabilization and Carl Zeiss lens) and notably, the 4.5” PureMotion HD+ curved glass screen – the world’s brightest, fastest and most sensitive touchscreen that even works if you are wearing gloves or have long fingernails!

Other interesting features are the Nokia City Lens that gives you details on your surrounding when looking at your camera’s viewfinder, the Nokia Music that lets you stream music or download offline playlists for free – no sign-up and no subscription – and the Nokia Maps with offline availability and turn-by-turn voice guided navigation.

Battery wise, the Nokia Lumia 920 should give you approximately 10h of 3G talk time, 400h of standby time, 67h of music and 6h of video playback time. And it comes with the wireless charger!

No details on pricing and release dates yet, but this Windows 8 powered device will surely raise the smartphone bar and stand against the mightiest iPhone and Android kings.
