The Level is a platform that you step on and through small natural movements, your heart rate will go up. Heath says, “we designed The Level to create subtle instabilities beneath your feet.” As you counteract these with simple movements, you “flow.”
You don’t have to think about it, and you can multitask easily while using The Level. Lab testing showed that using The Level caused no statistical difference in typing errors.
While it’s great for people who spend a lot of time at their desk, The Level is handy for replacing couch time, phone time, or time where you would otherwise be sitting.
