SOCCKET – A Soccer Ball That Captures Energy With Every Kick
SOCCKET is an energy-harnessing soccer ball that can power an LED lamp for 3 hours, after just 30 minutes of play. Inside is a pendulum-like mechanism that captures the kinetic energy generated with every kick, and stores it for later use. The 6 watt output is capable of lighting the included lamp for more than 72 hours.
Unlike a normal soccer ball, SOCCKET is airless. It is made from a water-resistant EVA foam that is both durable and soft to the touch, and never deflates. It weighs 17oz, one ounce more than normal soccer ball.
